Trip across America!

So, while we were at the beach we last minute decided we would ride with Juju and Papa to Utah to see the rest of the fam! Abby was having back surgery and Gracie and Ella's birthday parties. Audrey was having a graduation party for Geoffery. So what the heck why don't we go!! Really, Abby and Scott offered to give me a voucher for the plane trip back for me and Addie. We would then babysit Grace and Ella during the surgery. Addie would be a great distraction for Grace and I would get to see the girls!! We were excited about being there and getting to see everyone, but let me tell you the trip out there...not so exciting!! Juju, Papa, Me, Addie, and Jack(the dog) all rode across the country for 5(count them 5)days in a Camry Hybrid!!!!! For those of you who have made this trip it should not take 5 days, but it does when you stop at every Cracker Barrel you come to!!!! Sorry Mama...I had to say it!!! I love you, I swear! Anyway...we got home from the beach at 10pm on Saturday and left for Utah at 10am on Sunday. This was the only time we got to see Drew for the next month!!! And we had company at our house that night too!! AAAHH!! But ya know it was worth it...I got to see my sisters and my precious nieces and nephew!! I hope y'all know how much I love you!! Anyway, we had no DVD player(ours is broken) so this is what Addie did during the trip! Also, notice the change in carseats. Addie had been complaining about her carseat hurting her back for a while and we wanted to get another carseat, but I didn't want to spend the money. But, I couldn't stand the thought of her back hurting all the way across the country(and listening to her complain)so on our way through Atlanta I frantically found a Babies-R-Us that had the Britax carseat I wanted in the print I wanted on Daddy's Iphone and we drove by bought it, gave the old carseat to them to dispose of, installed the carseat in the parking lot, and off we went $300 later!! Addie did not complain once! She also loving named it her "Pink racecar"!
