Salley and Briley's Wedding!

For the first time since Addie was born I got to have a girls night!!!!! It was so fun!! Two of my college roomies and I had the pleasure of driving to Moultrie to attend the fourth roomies wedding reception! First let me say...I LOVE SOUTH GEORGIA!! I especially love MOULTRIE!!! There is just something about it! I have this little romance with it and I pretend all the time that we are going to move there and buy the most perfect "bungalow" and have Salley's mom and Mrs. Fliss(this is a real person and her real name---don't you love it!) help me decorate it!!! All of Salley's family and friends have impeccable taste and their houses look like they came out of a design magazine!! Anyway...enough about that...it's about the wedding, Ashley not about Moultrie and your crazy daydreams! Well, we left Atlanta and had an awesome sushi lunch in Macon and got to the hotel and freshened up then headed to Salley's parent's house to visit while she got ready. Salley greeted us in perfect Salley style and we all screamed and jumped up and down like crazy people! Salley even looked perfect in her "getting ready" clothes! I really felt like we were actually in the movie Steel Magnolias!! We visited a while(the whole time I am resisting the temptation of taking pictures of the house to steal all her mama's good ideas!!) then we headed over to the art center for the reception. We had a blast!! The food was awesome and the entertainment was better!! We danced and danced!! Then Salley and Briley were off and we headed to Walmart to buy snacks and dominos!! We ended the night talking, eating and playing Mexican train(a game with dominos)...I know, I know we are starting to show our age!!! All in all it was a perfect, well deserved night out with my favorite people in my favorite town!!
