Valentines Day Finale...if you can call it that?!

Well, all in all we had a great, very busy Valentines Day! Addie only told me once that she was having a "bad day" because she missed her daddy[which is an improvement over yesterday when she told me at least 20 times she was having a bad day...so much so that I bought her a frozen Mickey Mouse shaped pizza to cheer her up...I must be throwing in the towel this week on nutrition(I would not ever go down the frozen pizza aisle normally)] Anyway, We iced cookies and Addie helped by decorating three cookies and taking bites out of two of them, then she wrapped it up by eating the icing out of her little bowl with a spoon. She was a very happy and hyper little girl! Then we got dressed and met Dee Dee and Gumpy at Red Lobster at 1:30(our plans changed to a late lunch...which sounds way better than dinner at 4pm). Our meal was delicious and Addie got loaded down with Valentines loot which I might add was perfectly age appropriate, educational, and they gave her very little candy. Which if you don't know my in-laws this is very very very good! Food is love to them...so I am very very very proud of them for skimping on the candy. We then delivered Valentines Day treats to the nursing home and to Drew's Aunt, Uncle, and cousin. It was fun to give little kid valentines to people who don't normally get them and Addie was trilled to pass them out! So basically Addie ate sugar all day with no nap and now she is passed out in the bed with her Dora Valentines Day Adventure book tucked under her arm...courtesy of Dee Dee!
