Georgia on my mind!
HOOORAY!! After one year of living in Missouri with no friends or family to speak of we are finally moving back home to Georgia!! Drew got the go ahead on his transfer and we are moving at the end of October!! We have been(not so patiently) waiting for this for the last year. Missouri is great and all, but living in an apartment with no greenspace for my baby to run and play is just the pits! We are nervous and excited about living around family and all of our old friends again. We have been gone for 4 years and we have sorta gotten used to it being just us. Honestly, most of the time we were really sad that we don't have a babysitter or anyone to do things with, but on the other hand we have gotten really selfish with our family time. We do what we want when we want to do it. But, I really think the time is right for us to move back! Addie is the perfect age for friends, playgroups, preschool, etc. and there will be plenty of that back home. Looking back on our 4 year adventure I really have to say I wouldn't change a thing! We lived in Montana for 3 years and absolutely loved it with all of our hearts. We met tons of people that we love and would have never crossed their paths otherwise. We became our "own" family. We have been changed in so many ways for the better...for one we are much stronger people. Drew realized his dream of living in Montana and also his goal of getting his degree. Montana was like a dream come true for both of us...just surreal! Now, Missouri...we have grown a lot because of this place. We came here as part of the plan to move back to Georgia. We were here for Drew to train and get ready for taking over his territory, but we just didn't know we would be here for a year. We have grown to appreciate the things you usually take for granted. Friends, family, and grass! We are ready for country living again let me tell you!! All in all the experiences we've had have been good for us. We are stronger, less critical, "different" people with a "different" viewpoint on life than we ever would have had if we had just stayed in Georgia our entire lives. So, thank you God for knowing more than we can ever begin to understand. Thank you for knowing me better than I know myself!
