All I want for Christmas...

I have so many posts to catch up on that I'm frustrated....so...I'll just start with the most recent and work my way back. We went to see Santa and to ride the Pink Pig in Atlanta this weekend and had such a good time!! We made an appointment in October to see the Santa at Phipps Plaza and the pre-planning was TOTALLY worth it! This Santa was beautiful and so sweet! He took his time with each kid and read their letters and asked them about each item on their list. Not one child cried the entire time we were there...he was so good with the kids! Addie wrote a letter at home and this is what her's said:

Dear Santa,
Happy Christmas Santa and Mrs. Claus! Happy Christmas Reindeers! My Daddy wants a new pair of glasses. My Daddy wants a new pair of shirts. I guess that's all. I love you!
Love,
Addison

Drew and I cried! I know it's corny, but we just thought it was so sweet that she didn't ask for one thing for herself. Santa read the letter and looked up at me and Drew crying and gave us the sweetest look. He said not to worry that he would take care of her Daddy! Such a sweet little girl!! With Santa's prodding she came up with a few things she wanted also. If you ever get the chance you should make sure you get to see this Santa! After Santa we rode the Pink Pig. Of course she loved it and thought it was so cool. We always get an ornament when we go to mark that year and this year Addie got a little stuffed animal pig she promptly named "Oinky". She loves that little pig!! After the Pink Pig we ate at Mary Mac's Tea Room in Downtown. This place is so fun! It's just country cooking, but it's an Atlanta landmark and everyone from the Dalai Lama to past Presidents have eaten there. It was the perfect ending to our day. I think we are off to a good start for the Christmas Season! Next weekend we're off to get the tree!

He is going to be at BB&T doing pictures. I am taking Braden to see him next week. He used to work for Main Street Bank when I worked there. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
