Pickin' out our tree

We went the day after Thanksgiving to get our Christmas tree. We wanted to enjoy it as long as possible, because we were leaving for Utah December 13th. It is a tradition for us to get our Christmas tree from Jack's Creek and we haven't gotten to do it the last four years...so that is exactly what we did! It was so nice to be back in Georgia and get to go to all of our old places. It was a warm, pretty day and we had a great time picking our tree. We got one to go inside and then Dee Dee and Gumpy bought Addie one for the porch. We decorated Addie's tree with strung cranberries and popcorn, dried apples and oranges, and pinecones smeared with peanut butter and covered in birdseed. It was quite a hit with the wildlife...we fed a possum, birds, and a baby calf that got out of the fence. :) Addie was really excited about all the animals that came by for a visit!
